成語故事工作篇：忠言逆耳

公元前207年，劉邦率大軍到咸陽後，進入秦宮探看。但見宮室華麗，各處寶物不計其數，都是他從未見過的。每到一處，許多美麗的宮人向他跪拜。劉邦越看越感到新奇，興味也越來越濃。於是，他打算就住在宮內享受一番。

劉邦的部將樊噲發現劉邦要住在宮中，問他說：「沛公是想有天下呢，還是只想當一個大富翁？」

劉邦回答說：「我當然想擁有天下。」

樊噲真誠的說：「你進入秦宮裡，見到裡面的珍奇財寶不可勝數，後宮中美人數以千計，這些都是導致秦朝滅亡的東西啊。望沛公迅速返回霸上，千萬不要留在宮中。」

劉邦對樊噲的勸諫不以為然，還是準備住在宮中。謀士張良知道這件事後，對劉邦說：「秦王無道，百姓造反，打敗了秦軍，沛公才能來到這裡。您為天下除掉害民的暴君，理應克勤克儉。如今剛入秦地就想享受。俗語說：『忠誠正直的勸告往往不順耳，但有利於行為；含毒的藥吃的時候很苦，但有利於治病。』望沛公聽從樊噲的忠告。」

劉邦聽了，終於醒悟過來，馬上下令將庫府封起來，關掉宮門，率軍返回霸上。

此典故出自於《史記·留侯世家》：且「忠言逆耳利於行，毒（良）藥苦口利於病」，願沛公聽樊噲言。
